Kona

Kailua-Kona, commonly called Kona, is a major tourist destination town on the Big Island of Hawaii.Get around

Traffic was pretty minor before but is not so in Kona. Driving in tourist-oriented areas can be slow, but the town is generally not large enough to have serious congestion. Walking is a great way to move from place to place if you're taking in features of the town. But you should rent a car because there are some place where there is only lava.

  Hilo

Hilo is on the Big Island of Hawaii. The county seat and largest city in Hawaii County, Hilo is the one of the best starting points to explore the eastern half of the island, including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
